To Build or Not to Build?

I have more and more clients wanting to build. I can relate. We built our dream home and will be in it two years this spring. It may seem a little daunting but buying a lot and finding  a builder you can trust and enjoy working with can be a very rewarding experience.
It seems like yesterday that we planned a trip to find our slice of paradise on this beautiful island. We drove down every street and explored every nook and crannie. When we completed the purchase of our lot on the bay we were over the moon excited about the possibilities. We hired an architect/designer and our dream home began to take shape.

We then found a builder we felt comfortable with and trusted and the build commenced.  There is nothing more exhilarating than following the construction of a home that has gone from your imagination, to paper and then to dirt. There were many miletstones celebrated, from pouring the foundation to lock up and eventually the final occupancy inspection .

Many choices were to be made before we moved in.  Flooring, internal lighting, external lighting, paint colors and landscaping to name a few, however all of those choices are your own and so satisfying as you see it all come together.
Thanks to our builder, we moved in two weeks early and came in under budget.  We love our home, our neigbourhood, and our neighbours.  If it's a dream of yours to find your ideal homestead to build your forever home, let me help you find your ideal location.  I have a little experience with that which I'm happy to share.

If it's a dream of yours to find your ideal homestead and build your forever home, let me help you find and purchase your ideal lot.  I have a little experience with that, and I'm happy to share what I've learned. Very shortly, clients of mine will be starting their build and I'm so very happy I played a small role in helping them acheive their dream.
